Since whenever I look at the political news, I break out in hives, and every time I hear a pundit declare that this wave will be the start of the end of MAGA, I get a little pissed, because it sure as fuck isn't.

But enough of that negativity. I have two gems I discovered this AM. First up is the pianist Gamazda, who is playing an adpatation of Ozzy's iconic anthem Crazy Train on an actual, abandonded train.

The atmosphere is chilling, the playing is delightful, and the whole production is a joy.

Next, we turn to a seasonal favorite. As fall really settles in, we finally get the dreaded Pumpkin Spice themed – well, *everything* – but also we can start pulling out the holiday music.

This gem, a early drop of a coming EP, features the incomparable Angel Vivaldi playing the instantly recognizable "Carol of the Bells". My usual go to for this is the Trans-Siberian Orchestra, but that will forevermore be a second class citizen, this version just *smokes*. The appearance of a new name to me, Cole Rolland, is a bonus. I hope you enjoy this as much as I did:
