Sometimes, you are just fucking floored, and gotta share the love.
A while back I stumbled on a killer Brazilian guitarist, Lari Basilio, and I bought all of her albums. I should add that as a player, I go out of my way to find and support women players. There is no reason why they aren’t as prominent as male players, so I just try to do a little of my own diversity pass.
Anyway, Lari is a unique talent. I think you will agree:
Just amazing, and she looks like she is having a ton of fun.
That was very nice. They all seemed to be enjoying themselves.
On the subject of women musicians, I dropped into Threads today just long enough to learn that Ted Nugent is apparently trying to start a flame war with Taylor Swift. 🤣
I’m sure she’d be even less concerned if she’d ever heard of him.
