Music: Eliana Cargnelutti

She's the whole package, and she kicks ass

Backing away from the shredder scene, today I want to introduce you to someone who caught my ear a long time ago. Italian rocker Eliana Cargnelutti is a straight up rock/blues player who has formed a signature band, and frankly, while her playing isn’t flashy, the songs are catchy AF.

This morning, the YouTube gods recommended an official video from her album Aur, released a while back. And while I am not usually a fan of the music video (I prefer just to watch the members to work their craft on their instruments) this one is not overly produced, and I like it.

While she doesn’t post that much on YT, there are some other gems, like this concert in Triest from 2022:

The woman can play, she writes catchy riffs, and her voice perfectly complements the music.
