Music: Where has Grace Bowers been hiding?!?!?!

Yes, she's that good.

As a player (no, not that kind of player), I follow a few accounts on YT to help me hone my chops. Levi Clay is a Scottish guitarist who transcribes recordings into tablature and ordinary notation. His skill is legendary, but what I love is that he introduces me to plenty of great artists whom I had never heard of. He was the one that turned me onto Shawn Lane.

This week, he dropped a new transcription with the title: “This Girl Has Some SERIOUS Blues & Rock Chops”. That is like a beacon to a junky that there is some of the good stuff here.

And hoo-boy, is it good. Here’s three minutes of his transcription of her playing:

But that could be a one off, right? I mean she might not have the goods.
