NY Times Headline takes
Up early, and glancing at the NY Times on my computer, and I see ridiculous attempts at crafting click-bait
I first saw this on Dog Shirt Daily, and it was awesome. Time to take at it.
From the NY Times:
Uh, no, you are just going to rail on his polls and how the Dem’s are criminal for not insisting that he be replaced on the ticket… David Brooks is almost as bad at takes as Ross Douthat.
C’mon Michelle, you know better than to indulge in fantasy politics. You are better than this.
Do I really need to say it? I can’t believe Krugman actually gets paid for this level of punditry. Perhaps he should stick to economics.
Nah, I’ve been to Bakersfield. McCarthy will still be able to win if he chooses to run. California’s central valley is confident about how important they are to California’s economy (hint: they are about 2-3% of California’s economy, not 0, but it is not really essential, and they use 80% of the water in the state. They might not want to throw down that gauntlet), but it is merely a way station to the land of meth labs.
Wow, that was fun. NY Times headline writers are really not that good at it.
Thanks for this piece, because now I know not to even think about returning to the NYT.
Also, thanks for the earworm re: Bakersfield. Gonna have to listen to L7 sometime today!
