Some palette cleansing: Tommy Emmanuel

Sometimes, the world just gets you down. Never fret, Tommy E will lift your spirits.

It has been a tough week at work (no, the job isn’t that bad, but it was earning season, and we are trimming 5% of our staff, so that’s a lot of extra stress) and I haven’t been motivated to post.

I do have things to say about a snippet of Kara Swisher’s upcoming book where she castigates a lot of the tech bro assholery, and the joy I am getting from the losses that Trump is being consistently handed by courts is just delish.

I took today off of work (Friday) and we have Monday off, so I have a 4 day weekend, and I promise I will write something meaningful.

But I mentioned a palette cleanser. A few weeks ago, I posted a YT vid of Glen Campbell playing the Mason Williams staple, Classical Gas.

Since I looked that up, I must have had 50 YT vids of various artists playing it. BUt there is one artist who stands above. Tommy Emmanuel, a guitar player from down under, and who is just magnificent, does this amazing rendition.
