Affirmative Action - Republican Style
The Conservative "Pundit" class is just embarrassing themselves. Today, Ross Douthat, the resident trad-Catholic twat-waffle on the NY times blathers and wish casts
This afternoon, I made the mistake of clicking on the latest column by the resident spooge rag at the NY Times, Ross Douthat.
He posits that the undercard of Republican candidates should all consolidate to a single person (he prefers DeSantis) and then he admits that it might not work.
No fucking shit it won’t work. The truth is Jesus Christ1 himself could be the last candidate standing and that he would still lose to Trump.
But that is not why I am writing this. The “conservative” OpEd team at the Times and WaPo are really just affirmative action hires. Douthat, Stephens, French2 at the times, and Olsen, Thiessen, and Abernathy at the Post are all hacks. They get paid fat salaries to provide “balance” to the editorial positions, but at the end of the day, they just embarrass themselves, and waste column inches that could be used to polish a window.
They all are recipients of the benefits of this affirmative action, and when they get on their fucking high horse, talking down to the rest of us, they are the most fucking annoying humans on the planet.
Even if they choose the “Borgia” Christ:
I am fucking sick of people who feel that French is a “balanced” voice. He’s not, he is a far right Christian hack who pontificates endlessly, preaching to his choir, all the while just being an ass.
