An outside-in look at Musk's pledge to slash $2T

Gee, could there be any self interest in what he recommends? Say it isn't so, Shoeless Joe.

As I have written before, Patrick Boyle, a Youtuber who talks about financial topics with a characteristic dry, deadpan British accent. This time, he takes on the D.O.G.E. commission, that boondoggle of Musk and Vivek Ramaswami (and it appears that Marjorie Taylor Greene will be on loan to the mission - LOL).

Anyhow, Patrick spends 29 minutes laying out the history of the growth in government spending (and it is quite illuminating), before turning to the task at hand.

But why I am sharing this is the just golden digs at about the 18-minute point. Let me know if you don’t at least chuckle…
