Doc Savage reprint novels were coming out from 1964-1990, along with seven originals based on Lester Dent's (who wrote under the house name "Kenneth Robeson") outlines.
I wonder if the reason you can't buy the novels in new editions isn't because a new Doc Savage movie, or television series, has been in Development Hell sine 2016 starring Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson in the title role. It could be some deal that Conde Nast has to wait until the show (assuming that's still where we are) comes out to start re-releasing the novels again....
You know what I liked about Doc and the boys? They were all smart. Too many heroes were dumb as a post. Doc was as likely to use his head as his muscles, a rarity among pulp heroes. You can get most titles as Kindle ebooks if that’s something you use.
This is so cool! My dad (1917-1976) read them voraciously. They were the only books I recall him reading. (Too many responsibilities when I was little I guess. He encouraged us to be readers.) I’m not a science fiction/ futurist oriented reader, but I never forgot he read them.

I have all of them, I got them a LONG time ago (ahem, they were "non refundable" if you catch my drift) and I converted them all to ePub.
I also have all the modern ones, and the variants, Doc Vandal and Doc Brazen.
Great stuff all around!
