HGoTW: A Twofer - Thomas & Kavanaugh

Aw poor widdle SCOTUS Snowflakes on the Supreme Court are big madz that people skewer them mercilessly.

As I mentioned earlier in my birthday reflection post, life at work has gotten insane, hence the dearth of posts. Alas, the work schedule will continue to suck big tool, but I am a big boy and can handle it.

Thus, I was really unable to find candidates for the Human Garbage of the Week.

Imagine my surprise when the heavens opened up, and a bolt from Zeus brought me this article in the WaPo: “Justice Clarence Thomas calls criticism of him ‘nastiness’ and ‘lies’”. Seems that his fee-fee’s got hurt because he is an arrogant ass who delights in stripping rights away, and all the free swag from Leonard Leo and Harlan Crow can’t soothe his butthurt.

Seriously, that horrible waste of skin feels that he is being unfairly tarnished:

After facing harsh questions about his judicial decisions and accepting lavish gifts from a billionaire, Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas forcefully pushed back on his critics Friday — saying he and his wife, Virginia “Ginni” Thomas, have endured “nastiness” and “lies.”

Aww, too fucking bad. Ginni was quite literally working the phones on the “Stop the Steal” effort, and gee, only Justice Thomas was the only member of the full court who wanted to block the release to the January 6th committee of messages around the activities of the main players. Gee could that have been because his “best friend” and spouse, Ginni, had been sending lots of sketchy as fuck messages to CoS Mark Meadows (R-dumbfuck), and that might be a bad look.

I mean for fuck’s sake that was just the tip of the fucking iceberg, as more independent reporting unearthed things like huge dollar vacations (that weren’t reported on disclosures), and even a “loan” for a luxe Provost RV (about a cool quarter of a million) that it also appears that the loan was forgiven. I wonder if Thomas reported that “gift” as income on his taxes…

But, what we were treated to was his whining about how unfair it is that people are confronting him about this instead of finding their own billionaire to adopt them and swaddle them in the comforts that they truly deserve.

“What you are going to find, especially in Washington, is that people are going to pride themselves on being awful,” Thomas said during the hour-long conversation with U.S. District Judge Kathryn Kimball Mizelle, a former clerk of his, at a judicial conference on the Gulf Coast, hundreds of miles from the nation’s capital. “It’s a hideous place.”

Hey, you know what you obnoxious fucker, you can retire at any time if this really gets under your skin.

Look, Thomas is not a dumb person, but he benefited handsomely by all the Affirmative Action programs, and the fact that he got that leg up, he is resentful that others think he got there solely due to the color of his skin.

Thus, he has made it his life’s mission to pull up that ladder behind him, fucking all the others who could use a little assistance to taste the success that he had.

Fucking shitbird, he is a true pile of human garbage.

Bret “Keg-stand” Kavanaugh decided to open his pie-hole and chew on his left knee:

He said judges and Supreme Court justices must clearly explain their interpretation of the law and apply those legal principles in a uniform fashion. “Individual decisions don’t have to be popular. … The losing party has to respect the decision,” Kavanaugh said at the 5th Circuit Judicial Conference.

Aww, his fee-fees are also at risk.

In a conversation in Austin with Chief Judge Priscilla Richman of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 5th Circuit, Kavanaugh acknowledged the polarization in the country over political and legal issues, especially since the Supreme Court in 2022 overturned the legal right to an abortion established decades earlier by Roe v. Wade.

Uh, sure, whatever the fuck you say Bret “I love beer” Kavanaugh. Of course, in his spite-filled opinion, the esteemed Justice Alito mentioned that if Women were unhappy with their reversal in the Dobbs decision, they are not without electoral power. (Of course, the court would be all in on repealing the 19th amendment to zero out Women’s Suffrage)

The court is set to issue some seriously fucked decisions:

The court is poised to hand down numerous rulings on contentious issues before the current term ends in late June or early July. They include access to the abortion pill mifepristone, whether Donald Trump is immune from prosecution for election interference and the scope of the powers of federal agencies.

And with their 6-3 split, you can be sure the MAGA leaning members will fuck the rest of the country.

For this, the two named Justices have richly earned the shared title of Human Garbage of the Week.
