Like so many people I never paid attention to politics until Trump came along. I grew up in the northeast and always knew that Trump was a piece of shit and I never thought the people here in the MidWest were as stupid as they are. Republicans are just so after it for the money and the power, and unfortunately, the tech Bros have figured them out. Jesus, Vance gets worse every day! Thanks for sharing this. I’m going to send it to my kids.

For a second, I thought Vance had spent time with the Viet Cong.

Not that that can be ruled out, mind you...

Hmmm. JD Vance as cat toy. That has possibilities although I thought it was usually the family dog who humps the furniture…

What a nightmare! 50+ years ago I had 2 miscarriages about 18 months apart. I was pregnant and then long before the expected time of birth, I wasn't. Losing a pregnancy was devastating enough without being prosecuted for illegal termination. The first was before Roe v. Wade. The second was shortly after.

Also, as the end of fertility nears it is very common to skip menstruation for several months and then have a period. It doesn't seem too far fetched that women would be prosecuted for perimenopause.

Politicians have absolutely no business making medical decisions for other people

The biotech firm he invested in (that’s now gone bankrupt, I believe) did experiments on macaques and some of it was pretty terrible. Animal mistreatment was not unheard of - a monkey got hung in lab equipment, burned genitals… nasty shit. They also experimented on dogs, pigs, rats, etc.

So, he insults women who own cats, and his ace investment mutilated animals?

Christ, does nobody do any oppo research anymore? That would certainly have sunk his senate run in Ohio.
