I love listening to your picks in songs Geoff! Your tastes are very similar to my own!

As far as Boston’s debut album, I don’t recall how many copies I went thru on vinyl and cassette. I still a (digital) copy on my phone and listen to it whenever the mood hits me!

This makes my heart sing. Thanks for the note!

If you reverse this image and rotate it a little, you have the Mayan “astronaut” glyph. Kind of interesting.

Takes me right back to high school. Soooo many memories. I’m a few years older than you, but like you, I also wore my album out. I put it on cassette tape when I went to college, since there wasn’t room for my turntable. Probably wore the tape out too! Thanks for the memories!

I did as well … wore out the album and a cassette (which went first - 🤦‍♀️)

I even owned a “Picture Disc” of it that I had hung on my wall. This album was that good!

8 track. It got to the point where I would push play and then expect to have to suffer through a bit of stretched ribbon. That is still a fantastic album.

That was fabulous. I forgot how energizing Boston's sound is...the South Park episode is hilarious.

Boston! I named this Mandala Peace of Mind . . . It was one of a dozen paintings that got stolen by the owner of a restaurant who closed up shop long before Covid started and just refused to return them to me. This video link is showing the making of that Mandala and it opens like watching a kaleidoscope

They change the programs and I’ve lost a driver in my laptop, so I can no longer make those videos and of course I could never sync up the actual song too Mandala because of copyright issues.

Such a great album. Too many records in those days had one or two good tracks and the rest was filler. (Looking at you, Head East) The Boston album was great all the way through, with almost every track a potential single.

I can attest, in all seriousness, that I never smoked but I have inhaled - and most certainly at a Boston concert.

I decided to revisit my Boston memories from senior year through college. This one jumped out. Forget all about it. And I wasn’t loaded; just preternaturally distracted.
