Music: Ellen Plays Bass

She nails one of my faves, and is worthy of this post.

I have hesitated to post any of Ellen’s vids. No, not because she doesn’t slay, because she totally SLAYS. But because the YT ecosystem with young girls in particular seems to attract the “pervy” elements¹.

And I do not want to be somehow lumped into that “perv” ecosystem. Thus, I have enjoyed in private.

But this morning, she dropped a killer demonstration of one of my favorite tunes of all time, Wrathchild by Iron Maiden. This one minute, 16 second take is just masterful.

It must be great to have talent, and to have a family that supports you.

1. I have seen posts where her parents are involved, and they do take a lot of efforts to shield Ellen from the creepers. But Ellen is a natural show-woman and her joy that effuses through her videos is infectious.
