For a moment I was reminded of Al Di Meola’s guitar work on Passion, Grace, and Fire, with Paco De Lucia and John McLaughlin. A strong influence from flamenco style music but amazing jazz fusion pioneers. I’ll search for Eric Johnson’s “Ah.”
Always amazing. Ah Via Musicom was one of the first CDs I bought, and it’s still one of my favorites. Cliffs of Dover smokes, but there were plenty of other great tunes on that album.

I love that album. Al di Meola, De Lucia and McLaughlin were a magical trio when they got together, their playing wove a masterful tapestry
Mozart on a guitar.

I had no knowledge of Eric Johnson until you...I played this nice and loud in the kitchen while I'm cooking. Thanks!
Do look up the studio version, because it is just as awesome
Can never get enough Eric Johnson!
Ain't dat da truth!
