Music: Nita Strauss
There must be something in the water that Millennials drank in the 90's to turn out killer riff-meisters like Nita Strauss. She's the real deal, and brings her A-game.
Whilst I toil away in the salt mines, doing my product management leader work to earn the coins that pay my mortgage, and allow me to afford veterinary visits for my hounds, I also tuck into Youtube to tirelessly seek killer tunes to share with my adoring fans.
I know that all you lovelies appreciate this selfless service, and that brings a smile to my face, and cheer to my black and crusty heart.
Today, it is my absolute pleasure to bring this killer collaboration between the incomparable Nita Strauss (Iron Maidens, Alice Cooper, and solo). In general, she just kicks major league ass. She was even the house guitarist for Paul Stanley’s stadium for the Kiss guitarist’s LA-KISS Arena Football team. How effing cool is that?
Anyhow, she joins a growing rank of kick-ass axe slingers who lack a Y chromosome, and I am so here for it.
In this track I am sharing, Nita joins up with the distinctive vocal stylings of David Draiman, singer from Disturbed. It comes across as a call-response, trading their chops, and it comes together into just awesomeness.
I hope you enjoy this.
Editorial Notes
Life has gotten quite a bit nutty at work, my team is growing, and there are other changes afoot. I do have to write me a HGotW as our favorite Kathleen Parker once again opened her pie hole and started gnawing on her left foot.
I hope the music posts are enough to sate your needs until I can begin my usual mix.
Another awesome female guitarist! Thank you Geoff! Now, crack the whip and back to mining salt!
Didnt know a thing about Disturbed and David Draiman....very cool. Now back to your salt mines. 😂😂😂 Your piece on Kathy Parker oughta be a good one...she's worthless.
