I first saw Rush at my high school. Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson (or Aleks Živojinović as we knew him), performed at a high school dance at Georges Vanier S.S. in what was then North York. They both are alumnis, and this would have been around 1971 or 1972. Terrible to say, but I guess that very early performance turned me off of the band completely.

Their live double album, “All The World’s A Stage” was my introduction to Rush. To this day, I still prefer the live versions of most of those songs to the studio recordings.

I never liked the radio cuts of 2112. it is something that needs to be savored in its entirety

Had to watch it all. Waiting to see if it went to color like the Wizard of Oz. Love the B and W like one of those WWII newsreels.

Glad those folks got an early Xmas present. I wore that album out back in the day.
