In the late 80’s early 90’s I sang in a couple different bands. Both guitar player were incredible! One of them used to practice to an acoustic song by an artist I can’t remember. I believe it was a song that had the word Mediterranean Sunset? It was an excellent song and I cannot for the life of me remember what it is. I have a degraded memory so I can’t recall certain things.
Yes that’s it! A bass player I knew watched Paul Gilbert grow up! The guitarist that used to practice that song constantly on an Ovation Acoustic! Awesome, I can’t die happy 😆
Luv it! Maybe you can help me,

Oh so close. It is Mediterranean Sundance, an Al Dimeola song, but this is the version I like the most: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bhK_GFNq0N0
Time to burn my guitars for the umpteenth time. Argh!
I totally get that feeling.
And they make it look so effortless.
That was just awesome 👏 thanks for sharing
What a stone cold gas… thank you for your sharing.
This is good!!
Brava! Bravo! 👏👏 Loved it. Thanks!
I saw Tommy in Lebanon NH this spring. He’s insanely good and it’s amazing for the ability he has to be so gracious and humble.
He mentioned that he got his first guitar, with a cowboy on it, in 1956. So, he has been working at it for a while.
Yeah, he has definitely done the work.
In West Virginia, drinking shitty coffee and this is the perfect start to my last travel day to Philly! OUTSTANDING!
I get a major bummer when starting my day with weak ass coffee. However, this rendition of an old fave is definitely a mood lifter.
More sad brown water?
Yeah I couldn’t get outta that room fast enough! I have my new French press and good coffee with me and I was too lazy to go get it!
