Thanks for the memories Geoff. Became a Fleetwood Mac fan when they released Oh Well in my teens and I bought a compilation of their early bluesy material. Discovered Black Magic Woman was not a Santana original and the classic Albatross. Green was up there with the best. Confess though I have never heard this track before!
Thank you Geoff. Much appreciated. Love the P. Green tunes. Fortunate to have seen Peter Green with band mates “ open “for Santana in south Florida while on an extended vacation there
back in the mid seventies. Wonderful and memorable show. You might say “ They had us hypnotized !” Lol. One love
Thank you for posting this Geoff. I’ve been a fan of Peter Green for as long as I can remember and still thinking of having my Les Paul pickups configured out of phase to get his signature tone (that was originally found by accident!).
Yeah, I have a bunch of CD's of live recordings from the Peter Green era, and the man was just amazing. Of course, his bloodstream was 40% psychedelics and other pharmacological products as was the custom.
I found this, a tribute, with Mick Fleetwood on the drums, and Kirk Hammet playing probably his most tasteful solo on this track, with the guitar he acquired after the passing of Gary Moore.

Peter Green was an amazing talent, but drugs and mental illness really took a toll. Still, he left a great legacy.
