I know, right? I mean all my guitars have dings/dents and finish mars, but to pay an obscene amount of money to make it look old and tattered?
Side note: I inherited a guitar and a banjo from my father, the guitar is a late 50's Martin 000-15 tenor guitar (4 string, tuned like a banjo) that has a ton of dings, dents and scrapes. I am sure that I put many of those dings in it when I was growing up, so having it on my wall is a fond memory
I can ding mine up well enough on my own or with help from the cat. No serious damage yet anyway.
