I hate to throw rocks at an otherwise good post but when are people going to recognize that most states have the sitting Governor replace a Senator who leaves his/her position for any reason. I too wish the Democrats had a four or five seat majority in the Senate but the reason that Senator Sharrod Brown of Ohio is not being mentioned as a possible VP is that Ohio has a Republican Governor who would replace him with a Republican. I have no idea if the good Senator from Arizona should be the VP candidate but one thing not to be concerned about is his leaving his Senate seat would effect the Democrats’ slim Senate majority. Arizona’s Democratic Governor would replace him with another Democrat.

That’s President Biden to you! Too lazy to type out the word President? Easier to write Mr. Or, a subtle slur! Whatever your motivation, it makes you out to be a major asswipe! lol.

Still on Twitter over here (Elmo will have to delete me his own self before I leave, fuck him), and the KHive has been buzzing.

I want to address the bullshit claim from the press and the MAGAT Cult about "nobody voted for Harris in the primaries".

We sure as shit did. Every primary vote - mine included - for Joe, was also for Kamala, because they were the ticket we were endorsing. Period.

Yes, we always knew from 2020 that Biden was OLD! Anything could have happened to him so we voted for them knowing she might have to take over! She is more than ready! This time we are all ready for a female leader! GO KAMALA! 🎉🎊❤️

It seems like Beshear or Shapiro would be better choices for running mate. Any Dem that can win in Kentucky must have something going on. Love Wes Moore too. Surprised no one mentions him.

Absolutely can’t afford to lose any senators.

Four years under the tutelage of Biden has surely made a mark on soon to be President Harris. I’m comfortable with this choice because it brings unity to the party and flips a big fat fuck you to all the columnists hoping for a Dems in Disarray bloodbath. No open convention for you bloodsuckers.

I hope for all our sakes, Dark Brandon doesn’t disappear. He knows how to get to TFG like no one else. I like Mark Kelly a lot. But I agree that we need to retain all our Democratic Senators and Representatives, and grow that number, if possible.

Oh yeah, he is a secret weapon, and I think he will be all over it.

I think removing Kelly from Arizona will take the transition back a decade in that state (and I lived there from 2003 - 2014)

If this "Era of Good Feeling" sticks through the Convention and after, I'll be happy. But I can't forget how many Clinton NeoLiberals were telling Biden to step down, nor how they're whining now and wanting a bloodbath on the Democratic National Convention floor.

If Kamala Harris can put a muzzle on the lot of them? Then I'll breathe a LOT easier—because all we'll have to deal with is the usual bullshit of a Black Woman in Authority running against an openly bigoted felon and his even more bigoted toady....

Fuck those former Obama staffers who think their farts don't stink. I listened to Rick Wilson's pod this morning, and he explained how much of the torrent of "anonymous" statements were from this class of people who think they were the cause of the Obama era, instead of them being coattail riders aligned with a once in a generation pol (which is what Obama was).

They need to be put down like rabid animals.

It goes further back than that, to when Bill Clinton was President. Those staffers never stopped slapping themselves on the back for having beaten "the Reagan Magic", largely by becoming Reagan acolytes and pursuing all of his policies—except for a few social ones like "sorta protecting abortion" and "kinda supporting gay rights"! James Carville is an especially odious version of this, thinking he's got his finger on the pulse of America because he married a Republican....

When I go on about "Clinton NeoLiberals", these are largely who I mean—especially if you throw Hillary Rodham Clinton in there, who is about as "Progressive" as Ronald Fucking Reagan. They gleefully embrace a Republican Lite agenda, with a generous dollop of unearned self-satisfaction—and they see Bernie Sanders, one of the few American politicians I genuinely consider worth admiring, as a far bigger threat to America than Donald Trump, all because he wants to give people taxpayer-supported college and healthcare....

Yes, they ALL need to be put down like rabid jackals.

George Will. He's still out there? UGH. Fuck the NYT indeed... I havent missed a word of the crap. And I would agree that Biden has been an exemplary POTUS. Ageism is a nasty thing in America.
