I’ve posted about Jeff Kollman before. I discovered him in the 1990’s and I was amazed. He blended between hard jazz, and shred metal, layin’ down those thangs that tickled my pleasure centers.
I’ve written about him recently, and he has an album that will be out next month, that I will definitely buy, preferably on vinyl.
Today, I stumbled on this short-ish vid where he works out a lick.
Well, he calls it a lick, I call it magic. a bit under 4 minutes, and damn it is just amazing.
Just amazing stuff.
Magnificent. My deceased sweetheart was a guitar/music freak. His son was honestly a superb shredder and very talented...also enjoyed his beer and pot...wasted stoner with zero ambition. 🙄 Tim should have lived to hear more music like this. (Get a colonoscopy) ❤️
