My first impressions have weathered very well. With a string change under its belt, and three months of daily playing, I am happy to report that it is still awesome
Years ago, I replaced the stock Martin tuners on my D-16 with Gotoh open-back vintage-style with butterbean knobs, and I’ve been delighted with them ever since. They’re well-made and smooth, and I never have any tuning issues.
Nice write-up! I grew up about 10 miles from their headquarters in Nazareth. I don’t even think I knew there were other guitars out there when I was little. I may be just a little biased. 😉
It's pretty!
I grew up just a few miles from the Nazareth, PA location in Bangor, PA. My uncle had a Martin, and it was his treasure!
