Yeah, I've scaled back my participation a good bit and find I'm not missing much. I don't listen to any of the podcasts any more and am close to hate-reading the two dailies. If they do bring Teixeira on, I'll give up the remainder of my subscription as lost and will stop reading altogether.
I am just glad knowing that my $$$ is not going to pay for their staff like AB Stoddard, and Texiera when they get him to sign on the line that is dotted.
If they had snared the better Ukraine / Russia expert, Julia Ioffe, over Cathy Young, then I would have had more respect, but they chose hackery.
I am indeed a subscriber to Puck. Bill Cohan and Julia are the gems, and I worry a lot about Tara Palmieri and Tina Nguyen, they are the MAGA whisperers and I hope that their sanity can handle it!

I love all their stuff. The media stuff is a little over my head, but I think it’s interesting seeing how the corporate honchos of the streamers and I completely differ on how to get to profitability. (It def is not what they’re doing. Lol. MAX? Who the fuck takes an iconic brand like HBO and makes it a tile? And why do they keep allowing people to take excellent IP and turn it into something unrecognizable from its source material, etc).
And re: The Bulwark. I’m all in on Tim, Sarah, JVL and Joe. Charlie and Mona’s obsession with the radical left is bordering on unhinged. Like they’ve just been itching for a reason to bash the Dems for a while or something. And reading day in and day out about the “radical anti-semitism” on the left when I am lectured in my own home daily for defending anything Israel(and by extension, Biden) is currently doing by my 20-something, Jewish offspring, that I just want to scream *IT IS SO MUCH MORE COMPLICATED THAN THIS* to both sides.
My sub is up in February, and I'm pretty sure I'll tread your path and unsub entirely. Tim's on MSNBC often enough that I'll get my fix; I will miss Perticone, though.
I haven't decided if I'll look for another publication worth throwing some money at. I mean, I understand writers needing to be paid for their work, but I've gotten quite choosy about my criteria for paying. And I don't mean they need to agree with me 100% of the time.
I’m in the sticking around for Joe P and JVL camp and Tim and Sarah. Also, there’s Ben Wittes on the podcast. Tom Arnold with Tim was great last Sunday, too. I do understand where you’re coming from and suppose there could be a tipping point.
The holding up of unthinking college students and Ruy T is an excuse to quickly skip on through. That’s an increasingly good thing with the number of substacks and podcasts I find myself at. At least the pods can be consumed at one and a half speed while doing something else.

That wasn't me, and while i am a bit of a political junkie, I am not sure a $300/yr splurge is worth it for me.
