Been there. Not my kind of place but the people watching is pretty interesting. I went to a high end strip club and our strippers name was Heather. That’s all I will say about that. 😜

I never cared for Vegas either. It offends my Puritan sensibilities. Plus, you can’t go to the hotel pool without feeling like you have to be blonde, 6 feet tall and model thin.

I haven’t been to the Las Vegas Strip in years. I miss the days of $1 Blackjack tables where you could play for a long time and not lose much money. The last time I went, it was to see a show, do the spa thing at Mandalay and play some penny slots. I think we stayed at the Stratosphere. Loved the outlet mall there.

You hate “The Strip.” The city of Las Vegas is a whole different ballgame. We moved to NW Las Vegas four years ago and love it.

True that, I shouldn’t malign the folks who live in Las Vegas proper for the sins of the Strip. Hell, one of my favorite writers, Ed Zitron, lives here, and says he loves the city.

It is just that the strip is so gaudy, so fake, and so damn crowded that it is what I think of when I hear ‘Vegas’.

Thank you for your note!
