"Two weeks before the floods, Emhoff had bought permits for lithium mines in the state, but people had refused to sell their houses so the mines could be built."
I had blissfully forgotten about “soaking” after it was explained to me by a horrifiedly perplexed friend. Now I have to remember my method for removing it from my memory once again. Thanks 😂
Seems kind of thoughtless that none of those Trumpers got themselves murdered going to that rally to prove what a dangerous, third world, dystopian hellhole NYC is. Where’s the commitment?
Geoff, I enjoy what you write but am already over my head this moment in paid subscriptions. However, after the election(crazy)season is finished, that list will get pared down significantly and I can pick up lighter reading. My mental health will be needing it then.
WTAF indeed Geoff. It doesn't bode well for the US as a whole on the wider world stage, either. If Trump cons his way into office because of these mis-informed, poorly educated and (let's be honest here) lazy voters; it will truly (and unfairly) backfire on the US as a whole, globally. Dear Gods...
Fucking idiots, every single one.
As the old saying goes: "You can't fix stupid!"

> Wow! That was fast! Two weeks....
She should have asked the Colombian American woman if she liked the Affordable Care Act better than “that stupid Obamacare.”
You'll never talk sense into stupid

Another great case for dramatically improving education and access to mental healthcare in this country. 🙄

I will always be free, hopefully that helps.
It does but I like to support good writing.

Indeed, a Brit here totally baffled.
Exactly Libby - baffling is a bloody brilliant word
But then, we did Brexit so, we can hardly cast stones in greenhouses, eh? ;o)
Oh no don't mention Brexit. I'm still not over that act of lunacy.
Russia doesn’t do much well, but they do trolling and manipulation gangbusters. They did it in our 2016 election and in Brexit.
*cough Elon Musk *cough!
You forgot the palette cleanser. 🤪
