Congratulations!!! With its many downsides, the internet has provided the ability to “connect” with interesting people all over the world that you’ll never meet in real life. It’s one of the things I love about Substack.
The music posts are always good. Apparently, I’ve led a sheltered (modern) musical life. But I discuss them with my husband, who has not led a sheltered (modern) musical life, and you and he must have similar tastes in music. We’ve had some great discussions. Thanks for the UFO song! 💖
As to gaming, I tried Crash Bandicoot once when my kids were young and couldn’t figure out how to get past the first level. End of gaming. 😂
Damn! I'd forgetten how much I loved UFO. I saw them here in Chicago at the old Amphitheatre. They were recording a live album that night and on the record you can hear me screaming for "Lights Out on London." Then they played it!
This song right here, with the "misty green and blue... love to love to love you" chorus is so huge, orchestral, so fantastic and emotionally charged that I'm breathless while listening to it build to the conclusion. Now I have to look for this live disc online.
If I wasn't already subbed the Ab Fab reference would have compelled me to do so.
And that music ain't half bad, neither.
Your kind of music is MY kind of music, my friend. I look forward finding you in my inbox. I learn. I laugh. Carry on. ❤️❤️
Def my kind of jam, both the song and your scribblings. Carry on!
Congrats and thank you for sharing your excellent taste in music. MSG always meant Michael Shenker Group to me, not a food additive.
Sorry for the misspelling
