Outstanding...I love Dave Brubeck. I love Jazz! I saw him 10 lifetimes ago at the Newport Jazz Festival. This acoustic version is magnificent. Do you remember Herbie Mann, the flutist... his album with Duane Allman playing guitar...the provocative (at the time) album Push Push...I was in high school when that came out. I was mesmerized by the cover art and the music. 😂
Love me some Dave Brubeck!! My first introduction to jazz. When I was little, my grandparents had a ginormous hi-fi cabinet, filled with my grandfather’s lp collection. Time Out was an oft played album. It was one of the first albums I purchased on Apple iTunes. 💙💙💙💯💯💯
