Love Over Gold is one of my favorite albums and Telegraph Road my favorite song on the album ( though Industrial Disease has one of the best lines: Two men say they’re Jesus, one of them must be wrong). I love songs that tell stories and this is one of the best. I’d not heard the live version before. Thank you!
My favorite Dire Straits album is Alchemy from 1983, and my favorite track on it is Romeo and Juliet. The mandolin entrance on it makes me bawl my eyes out every time
