This is a work of art. You should definitely buy it. 😉 If I had $300,000 I didn’t know what to do with, I’d buy it myself!

Congratulations and early happy birthday! I reach the same destination 5/18 so we’re pretty close in our journey. Hope you get that guitar. Come on lotto!!

I misread the third note and thought you paid $750,000 for a guitar. It’s early.

I’m torn on the Martin. The ostentatiousness would wear on me. And my $400 Yamaha’s feelings would be hurt.

Yamaha makes superlative instruments that are neigh impossible to beat at their price points. You have a keeper there.

What a beautiful wild-looking guitar. Have you heard it played yet? The rings of a sycamore tree. Didn't know that particular wood could be used for such an exotic looking instrument. Just awesome. I know you're joking, but perhaps you can start a go fund me page. That's a lot of money.

I was buying my high schooler a guitar, looking at $200-300 and heard a $750 guitar. I realize it doesn’t compare-but the DIFFERENCE! We took it home, no regrets 👍

Lol. But yes, the difference between $300 and $750 is very noticeable. Quality of components (tuners, etc), and the care of set up make a ton of difference. But $750 to $3,000 is much less.

This guitar (the D-300) is art, and all 30 will be bought and placed into nitrogen filled cases for the collectors to show off.

Hope your high schooler keeps (or kept) up the music journey!
