Has anyone ever thought to ask Kathleen Parker about her mommy issues? She pulled this with HRC too - it’s sad and frustrating that she’s not only given a platform, but paid well, for it.

Kathleen is a legend in her own mind. And all-around useless POS.

In the astute words of Dick Vitale:" That's the trifecta, baby!!" Kathleen seems to be a contender for the intellectual detritus award. A total load of stinking bullshit.

Considering that video of Kamala was produced by RNC Research, I’m not going to consider it any form of legitimate criticism. Not when we have scores of video of Trump’s word salads.

WaPo should remember they die when our democracy dies. I read Jennifer Rubin. After that, the occasional guy reinforcing my bubble. Otherwise, their editorial page isn’t fit to read during a subway malfunction.

WaPo died a long time ago. The better question is why Jennifer is still there. The paycheck? What is the price of democracy these days anyway?

Whatever her reason, I’m happy to read her. Also, I live in Maryland. The Baltimore Sun has been co-opted by Sinclair’s feudal lord. WaPo is handy. Kinda.

It isn’t great. I use the Banner for local. I love the Guardian.

I used to use DCist but then WAMU killed it.

The Politics Hour with Kojo isn't bad but that's politics not news.

I seem to recall Martin Niemöller said something about this.

Wow, had to look up that reference. I’m familiar with the sentiment, not the source. But if I were as critically discriminating as I’d prefer, I would have no news sources.

The Guardian, the AP, Reuters.

WTOP for local.

Unless they've reinstalled it, the WaPo has lousy local coverage since Bezos bought it.

Glad to be of help. I can present the information, and others can present information to me, but what we do with that information is on us.

I believe we all arrive at what I call our Niemöller Moment at different times, and for different reasons, with a lot of rationalization along the way.

May you find your Niemöller Moment before you have an Anne Frank Moment.
